Recipe by David Prieto, winner of the Golden Bottle Award at the 13th El Jardin del Lupulo Homebrewer Competition. It presents an intense, balanced aroma, with citrus and resinous notes over a malty background of light caramel and bread crust. On the palate it offers medium body, a smooth texture and firm bitterness integrated with subtle toasted nuances. Long, dry and persistent finish, with a pleasant slightly bitter aftertaste.

DouGall's, located since 2006 in the rural surroundings of Lierganes, Cantabria, is indisputably one of the pioneers and fundamental pillars of the craft movement in Spain. Unlike other brands that seek noise or constant novelty, its reputation is unbreakable thanks to the honesty and extreme "drinkability" of its beers, achieving a balance and consistency that make it the go-to brand for many experts in the sector. Its catalogue is built on classics that educated the palate of an entire generation on the peninsula, such as 942, an aromatic and light Pale Ale that defined the standard for session beers in the country, and IPA 4.
The brewery was born from the unlikely but perfect union between Andrew Dougall, a Scotsman who came to Cantabria looking for a change of life, and Enrique "Kike" Cacicedo, a Cantabrian with business vision who helped scale the project. Together they professionalized the national sector when it barely existed, prioritizing investment in laboratory equipment and quality control over aesthetics.
