Also known by its scientific name VGXP01, it was discovered as a mutation in one of the hop fields in Washington, United States. It was developed by Virgil Gamache Farms and released to the market in 1998. Although it is not a planned hybrid cross, its fortuitous origin adds a unique element of aromatic freshness to its profile
