Bissell Brothers Brewing Company, based in Portland, Maine, United States, was founded in 2013 by brothers Peter and Noah Bissell. Specializing in New England IPAs, its flagship beer The Substance marked a turning point in the East Coast craft scene: hazy, aromatic and loaded with hops from the Pacific Northwest.
