Behind it are Carlos Rodríguez and Montse Virgili, who began homebrewing in 2000 and eventually turned an old farmhouse surrounded by vineyards into a small brewery with a character of its own.

They specialise in mixed-fermentation and barrel-aged beers, with a clear influence from Belgian brewing tradition. They work with wild yeasts, long maturation in oak and, in some releases, grape varieties such as Merlot or Muscat. The result is complex beer with acidity, notes of wood and fruit, and the rustic character that makes it so distinctive. Their emblematic Setembre, made by blending their Pura Pale with Cantillon lambic, is one of the best examples of their approach. They also brew Pale Ales and other classic English-inspired styles.

Buy Masia Agullons beer online

At MASCRAFT, you can buy Masia Agullons beer online from a selection that changes with availability and the brewery's different releases.
